University Response to the Current State of Coronavirus Infections

The spread of COVID-19 is still hard to predict. However, the spread of the infection in Japan is beginning to subside. As a result, we will lower the operational level of "Ceremonies and Events including off-campus trips" on the “Table of Procedures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19” which was established on April 28, 2021. It goes from Level 2 to Level 1 (Events and ceremonies fine to be held).

Concerning extracurricular activities, these are at Level 1 (Conditionally approved). Those conditions will be specified in guidelines drawn up by the Student Services Division. The guidelines will be available to students on CampusWeb, our university portal site.

It's hard to predict the impact of new mutant strains. But, while continuing to take measures to prevent the spread of the virus, the University will proceed with lifting the restrictions on various activities to provide an environment for student community development.
