新年度の授業実施方針等について

1月7日付けにて、東京、埼玉、千葉、神奈川の1都3県を対象に緊急事態宣言が発出されました。この発令によって、新年度の授業形態はどうなってしまうのだろうと、不安を感じていらっしゃることと思います。

今回の緊急事態宣言において、大学には感染防止対策の徹底と対面・オンラインの適切な活用が求められる一方で、休校や登校自粛が要請されるものではありません。


新年度の授業形態につきましては、新型コロナウイルスの感染状況が急変し、国から休校要請等がないかぎり、対面形式での授業を再開する予定です。ただし、授業によっては、今年度のオンライン授業運営で開発された効果的な教育手法や教材を活かし、オンライン形式を継続します。健康上の理由で大学に来られない学生については、成績などで不利益を被らないように対応します。

対面授業の実施にあたっては、教室入口での消毒、定期的な換気、マスクの着用など感染防止対策を徹底しておこないます。現在取り組んでいる感染予防対策を継続したうえで、今後も効果の高い取り組みを迅速に取り入れることで、皆さんが安心して様々な活動ができるように努めます。

学生の皆さんにおかれましては、対面形式での授業に備えてキャンパスに通えるように準備をお願いします。具体的な新学期の日程や新たな予防対策の情報は、キャンパスウェブを通じて案内しますので、定期的に確認してください。また、ご自身、そして生活を共にするご家族や地域のみなさまの大切な命と健康を守るために、自覚と責任ある行動をお願いいたします。

どのような状況になろうとも、これまで培った経験やみなさんからのフィードバックをもとに工夫を重ね、新学期も質の高い授業を提供できるように準備を進めていきます。どうかみなさんも新学期のキャンパスでの授業に向けて、ご自身の健康管理に留意しながら、少しずつ準備を始めてもらいたいと思います。

To all current students, parents, and guardians


A State of Emergency was declared on January 7 for the prefectures of Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa. I understand that many of you are concerned about the format of lessons in the new year.

According to official guidance, universities are permitted to continue both online and face-to-face lessons, provided that the appropriate infection prevention measures are thoroughly implemented. There is no requirement to close the university to students at this time.

Unless we see a dramatic change in the situation, or are asked to close our campus by the government, our goal is to try and reintroduce face-to-face classes on campus. However, we will also incorporate, when appropriate, the best of what we have learnt through researching and developing online courses. Whatever the lesson format, therefore, we will endeavour to provide quality courses. Support will be given to students who cannot come to university due to health concerns in order to minimize any disadvantages, for example, with regards to grades.

Presently, measures which are being implemented for on-campus lessons include installing hand sanitizer stations at entrances, regularly ventilating classrooms, and asking everyone to wear a face mask on campus. At this time, we plan to continue our current infection prevention measures, and will continue to adapt and implement additional effect measures so that everyone can continue to carry out on-campus activities with peace of mind.

We would like to ask all students to prepare for the reintroduction of in-person lessons, particularly in terms of making sure you are able to commute to campus. Specific plans for the new term and information about new infection prevention measures can be found on CampusWeb, so please be sure to check regularly for updates. Furthermore, we ask that students continue to use caution and act responsibly, considering the health and safety of everyone in your daily life and extended community.

As we monitor this situation, we will continue to strategize based on our experiences and the feedback we receive from everyone as we prepare to provide high-quality lessons in the new term. I would like to ask that each of you begin taking steps to prepare for your new classes, paying special attention to taking care of your own health.
