What is the unique learning experience at KIFL?

Language and planning skills honed in a multinational environment.
Bringing the charm of Japan to the world and creating the future of tourism.

If you are serious about English, go here" - the words of my homeroom teacher in high school pushed me forward. At first I thought about taking a working holiday abroad, but I was attracted by the environment where I could acquire both expertise in tourism and high language skills, and decided to enroll in KIFL. The course is a very lively and multicultural environment where English is spoken on a daily basis. The days spent practicing and learning "English for communicating" while teaching each other's native languages with international students were exactly what I was looking for.
The greatest ability I acquired at this school was the ability to respect diverse values and plan to give shape to them. One project that left a particularly strong impression on me was a regional development tour project in collaboration with a company. I was in charge of creating the website and leaflets, and through the process of grasping the intentions of the multinational team members and putting them together into a single form, I learned the "essence of communication" that goes beyond language skills. I learned the essence of communication beyond language skills through the process of understanding the intentions of multinational team members and putting them together into a single form. Being able to hear directly from participants that they had enjoyed the tour I was involved in planning gave me great confidence in my ability to pursue a career in tourism.
I have been offered a position at a company that specializes in inbound tourism and communicates the charms of Japan to the world, where I will use the language skills I honed at KIFL to entertain visitors from all over the world at Tokyo Tower, one of Japan's landmarks. I would like to further develop myself in an environment where there are not only Japanese but also many non-Japanese staff members. In the future, I would like to deliver memorable experiences to guests from all over the world by combining my "tourism perspective" cultivated in the field with my language skills.
