Kanda Institute of Languages supports students who have the ambition to demonstrate the language skills they have acquired at Kanda Institute of Languages overseas and to further develop their language skills.

Entrance Fee Refund System
If the applicant himself/herself is a graduate of the Kanda Institute of Languages Daytime Division, the former Evening Division Specialized Course, the former Japanese Language Department, or Kanda University of International Studies, or if one of the applicant's parents, brothers, or sisters has graduated or is enrolled, the admission fee will be refunded according to procedures after admission. If you wish to use this system, please contact the "Kanda Institute of Languages and Linguistics Ishizue Kai" after admission. We will guide you through the procedures for the refund of the entrance fee.

Affiliated Dormitory Scholarship
1. Entrance fee scholarship
In order to support new students entering the university to start a new life, we will subsidize half of the entrance fee for those who will live in the dormitory of Kyoritsu Maintenance, which is affiliated with the university.
Eligibility: Students enrolling in all departments for all application periods. There are no restrictions on the place of residence at the time of application.
2. Special dormitory scholarship
For new students who have passed the AO entrance examination and are able to comply with the conditions of living as a model student in the Kyoritsu Maintenance Student Dormitory, which is affiliated with Kyoritsu University, the dormitory fee will be reduced or exempted.

Qualification Scholarships
Students who are enrolled in their second year of study at Kanda Institute of Languages, who serve as role models for other students and work diligently in their studies, and who obtain the following qualifications during their enrollment will be awarded a scholarship after graduation upon application. Only one qualification per student may apply for the scholarship during their enrollment.

Public Scholarships
Kanda Institute of Languages handles two scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for Private Education. Scholarships cannot be applied to the admission fee or other first-year school expenses, as they will be transferred after enrollment. In addition, foreign nationals may not be able to apply depending on their status of residence.
Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship
This is a government-sponsored program designed to support students who are motivated to study so that they do not give up on their studies for financial reasons. Students are selected based on their academic performance and family budget screening. There are two recruitment methods: "Reservation Adoption" and "Adoption while enrolled in school".
Reservation Adoption"

This is a system to reserve a scholarship prior to enrollment. Please apply to the scholarship office of the high school you are enrolled in the year before you plan to enter. You can apply for the scholarship even if you have not yet decided on a school of higher education.

Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for Private Education Scholarship
The scholarship is available to students residing in Tokyo who are motivated to study and whose financial situation makes it difficult for them to study. Both the student and his/her guardian (person responsible for support) must reside in Tokyo. Applicants will be selected through a screening process. Details will be announced on manaba after enrollment. Loan funds must be returned after graduation.

Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for Private Education
New system of support for higher education: Expanded support for households with multiple children
Kanda Institute of Languages has been approved by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as an eligible institution under the "New System of Support for Higher Education". Under this system, students from households that are exempt from residential taxation or equivalent are eligible for a reduction or exemption of entrance and tuition fees, as well as scholarships. For example, if a student from a household exempt from residential tax and commuting from home enrolls in Kanda Institute of Languages, he/she will receive a maximum of approximately 1.2 million yen in tuition reduction or exemption for the first year. Kanda Institute of Languages offers an educational loan program in cooperation with the following companies as part of its student support system.
