What will you do this summer?

Summer vacation has begun!

This week I asked 6 KUIS students about their plans for summer vacation. Let’s find out what they’ll do with their free time!

“I’m traveling! This summer I will go to Nagano and Yamanashi to have BBQs and look at the night sky.”

“I’m going to see the wind chimes (fuurin) in Kawagoe with my friends. I’m also working part-time at a theme park this summer!”

“I’m going back to join Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori. I’m also going to volunteer in Miyagi as an English teacher for elementary school students.”

“I will go to Disneyland with my friends. I’m going to visit Shanghai in October, so I will work part-time to save money.”

“I will go back to my hometown in Fukushima. I’m also going to watch the fireworks in Edogawa!”

–Mio

“I will go to Vietnam for my study abroad. I’m looking forward to making new friends there!”
