British English Quiz!

2019/03/04

Hello, readers!

What kind of English do you speak?

If you studied English in Japan, you probably learned American English.

Most English textbooks in Japan use American English. For example, the word “soccer” is American English. In the UK, this sport is called “football.” Different versions of the word “football” are used in the UK, South America, and most of Europe and Africa.

At KUIS, about 1/4 of our English teachers speak British English, and many students study abroad in the UK. You can also try out these words at British Hills! Do you know about British English vocabulary?
