Workshops

SALC workshops are special classes run by the SALC to give learners extra guidance in skills for language learning. The workshops take place at different times throughout the year. They are optional, but learners usually find them interesting and useful, and there is often a waiting list.

In the past, the SALC has run workshops on the following themes:

  • Using TV shows for English study
  • Vocabulary for knitting
  • SALC soccer skills - countdown to the World Cup!
  • Tips for improving your TOEIC score
  • Cooking with English
  • Collocations: Natural word combinations
  • Introduction to hip hop

If you are a KUIS student and would like to attend some SALC workshops, then please go to the website for students "Let's Study English" and make a reservation: http://elisalc.org/workshops/
