Language

The language policy of the SALC is generally English only. The purpose of this policy is to maximize the opportunities for authentic language practice. However, if a learner needs to talk with a learning advisor in Japanese, then this is also possible. Overseas students learning Japanese can use Japanese in the SALC if they wish, and can talk to a learning advisor in Japanese or English!

All the learning advisors and staff in the SALC can speak English, but many of them can speak other languages too!
