TESOL MA Program

入試情報


Eligibility for application

Applicants should meet both of the following criteria.

1. Academic qualification

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or are expected to receive it before they start their studies in the MA program.

2. English proficiency requirement( For non-native speakers of English only)

Applicants who are non-native speakers of English must have one of the following:

  • TOEFL ITP 550 or above

  • TOEFL iBT 80 or above

  • TOEIC 800 or above

  • IELTS 6.5 or above

  • EIKEN Grade Pre-1 or above.

The applicants should submit an official score report issued within the last two years from one of these test(s) or the proof of EIKEN certification. A photocopy is acceptable.

Selection procedure

1. We will first review the application materials submitted from the applicants.

2. Selected applicants will be invited to the second step of examination: Essay writing, group discussion, and interview.

Part 1. Essay writing in English (1hour)

  • Applicants will write an essay in English about a given topic on English educaiton.

  • They are allowed to use a dictionary.

Part 2. Group discussion and interview in English (1 hour in total)

1. Group discussion

Applicants will have a group discussion on a given topic about English education.

2. Interview

Interview will be conducted in English about the contents provided in the statement of purpose.

December 4 (Mon), 2017 ~
January 17 (Wed), 2018

Accepting application materials by mail

January 24 (Wed)

Sending the results of the document screening by email

January 28 (Sun)

Second Screening Exam: Essay writing in English and English interview including a group discussion

February 2 (Fri)

Sending the results of the second screening exam

February 5 (Mon) ~
23 (Fri) 

Accepting the payment of the enrollment fee
